mention cam body name
Hi, Jon primarily used the Sony Burano, with some use of the Venice2.
I look at him and think “kind papa”
so beautiful perfect scene
Thanks!
Please give some special attention on sound when recording this type of video. Because the videos like this are so impotent for people like me. thank you!
Why is there no flange back adjustment on the FX9? Thanks
Flange back adjustments are on the lens itself for backfocus usually on broadcast lenses, Not the on the camera body itself. Sony mounts and lenses have a fixed flange distance, so if there is an issue with backfocus, I would be checking the mount or adapters for play/movement. There shouldn’t be a reason for changing it.
Is this facility also available in India?
This facility is currently only in Los Angeles
BEAUTIFUL
Thank you! 😊
When will we see the Nano Primes in RF mount?
The Nano Primes are currently only offered in E mount. The RF with electronic pass through is not currently being offered for licensing. Should it become available, we will take it under consideration. Thanks!
Great to hear that there is still money and energy being spent in the music video space. Christopher is a top lad and incredible cinematographer.
Love the idea of collaborating rather than simply 'witnessing'... beautiful piece Elisa!
What camera(s) were used to film this?
I just finished watching your latest work, and I'm truly impressed by your cinematography skills Venky The shots were beautifully composed, and the lighting was on point throughout. I can see the hard work and creativity you put into it. Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to seeing more of your projects in the future
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you dear Mayur .
i totally sleep with $23,000 worth of lenses on my nightstand, lol but no this looks great
I thought that was just me ;)
what was the camera and focal lengths?
It was shot on Sony Venice for the camera. The lenses were the full range of the new ZEISS Nano lenses.
Little correction camera was Sony Venice
Thanks!
Nice!
Thanks!
Super
Beautiful and incredible! Like having a blank canvas and possessing incredible painting capabilities. I'm super excited since a month ago, I have a pair of Milvus and a Flekto and I know one day I'll get to this. Total thanks.
Aaa! Todo mi amor.
Nice vid
🙄 P r o m o s m
I’ve worked with Jon. He’s one of the best in the business, incredible mix of intellect and artistry .. as you can see
We agree! did you see the new piece he made for us? Shoot Sleep Repeat is terrific!
Nice lens
Thanks!
This is absurdly gorgeous
Thanks!
That was fire!
Thanks!
Beautiful, what camera was used?
Sony Venice 2 :)
omg it is so beautiful, so dreamy but sharp
Looks really nice, and I think proves the value of this lens set for documentary work. Various forums like to talk about the chromatic aberration (CA) these lenses display in lens tests with charts. But I personally don't find it distracting in the strongly backlit shots here-- I think you have to know where to look for it.
Awesome piece!
Glad you like it!
cool stuff. Camera seems to be a Sony Burrano. Zeiss? we all know... Legacy lives.
Yes, the Sony Burano was the camera used, and shot with the new ZEISS Nano Primes.
They look fantastic! We're seeing a lot of interest at Hot Rod Cameras.

Please zoom lenses for Sony
Please start producing new ones! So many of us who love Zeiss and are not willing to use the G-lenses.. I only use Zeiss, especially my vintage ones. We need some zoom lenses. I bet 800% that it would sell, if you compete with the Sony ones.
Please make more of them <3 3 different zooms would be insane!
I dont want to be using G-lenses.... I would love to have the zooms for sony with a better fstop than the f4 :(
Worth 10000 x More views.. I just bought my first Milvus ..
Man is a photographic genius
Basner .. one of those rare natural and amazing and talented photographers of our time. The pieces actually feel like you're looking at a 3D painting and invite you to walk into the subject .... Breath taking.
We agree!
Looking forward to seeing the film :)!
Hope you enjoy it!
Super late here 🤦 hella keen to know what 35mm she has.. Brand she shoots.
Looks like a Sony 1.8/35 www.abpan.com/my-gear/
Beautiful.
I Love my Milvus, Otus lenses for cinematography!

Where are photography lenses? This channel seems all about video production.
Hi, if you check our playlist tab, we have several that are photo focused. Hope that helps!

Yes I agree show more on photography
These Otus’s have cine focus marks, I can’t seem to find any online that also have that. Is that not a sold option?
Hi, They have been modified by Duclos Lenses, you can find more here: www.ducloslenses.com/pages/zeiss-cine-mod-primes
Great work! Love it!
Thanks a lot!
anyone know the camera shot in ?
Hi! Toshihiko Kizu used the Sony Venice camera.
Clicked for a second, stayed for 2 mins and 58 seconds. Mesmerizing
Thanks!
映像表現の可能性を感じさせてくれる。でもダンスでちょっと冷めてしまった。 Dancing in an aquarium shop was weird…
Such impressive work. I wonder how the slow shutter effect from 2:09 to 2:11 was done. Can someone help me out here? Thanks!
The main actor was shot separately and keyed in. The background plate was likely shot normally in slow motion (120fps?) and then had a motion blur effect applied in post with the shutter angle set to a high motion blur setting like 360 degrees. Or they filmed at a lower frame rate to get more motion blur in camera and used a frame synthesis software to make the footage a higher framerate in post.
@@sullyvangogh Thank you for the insight! It sounds like a lot but the result is definitely worth it. I'd love to give it try someday in the future :)
Wonderful shooting and grading. Thank you for the visual treat!
